Sexiness Banned at E3

Sexiness Banned at E3

None

Although this will not apply to many readers who are not attending E3, we thought we would still inform you that this year’s expo has decided to enforce rules on the dress of the popular booth babes. Their comment states:

“Material, including live models, conduct that is sexually explicit and/or sexually provocative, including but not limited to nudity, partial nudity, and bathing suit bottoms, are prohibited on the Show floor, all common areas, and at any access points to the Show. ESA, in its sole discretion, will determine whether material is acceptable.”

If a company fails to comply with the rules, one verbal warning will be given and then a $5,000 penalty will be issued.

This clearly limits the booth babes, but questions still remain about what will be acceptable in the games themselves. Does the ESA plan to limit the games displayed by the content? It looks like this may be the case since their statement includes all “material”.

The ESA states that although they want E3 to be fun, it is also a business trade show and needs to have limits as such.
