EA and Digital Illusions CE (DICE) have confirmed that an expansion pack called Battlefield 2: Special Forces will be available for Battlefield 2.
The expansion pack will include six new character classes to choose from: Navy SEALs, British SAS, Russian Spetznaz, fictional Middle Eastern Coalition Special Forces, rebels, and insurgents. There will also be ten new vehicles, Special Ops weapons and gadgets that are said to be the “most technologically advanced vehicles and weapons systems available to man.”
Battlefield 2: Special Forces will require the original Battlefield 2 to play and is scheduled to invade stores this fall.
