Sony has finally begun unveiling information about the PlayStation 3. We have our hands on the name of the first announced launch title. Untold Legends Dark Kingdom is currently in development to arrive with the PS3.
The game is being written by Keith Baker who has written Dungeons & Dragons and Star Wars novels. The plot involves a king who falls under the influence of dark forces. Gamers play as a servant who is working to stop the new reign of terror.
“Physics-based” gameplay that allows for fully interactive environments where players can pick up and use objects and enemies alike as weapons or tools on their quest is revealed. Players can choose from three different characters and earn spells, abilities, weapons, armor, and much more throughout the game.
The game will utilize some of the new features on the PlayStation 3 like high-definition graphics (up to a resolution of 1080p) and 7.1 audio. Online multiplayer action will also be available. Players will also be able to download new content from Sony’s online service after the launch.
