God of War was a huge hit last year and left many players hungering for more. Well, hunger no more. David Jaffe, the Director of the first game, has announced that God of War II: Divine Retribution is on its way for the first quarter of 2007.
A trailer shown at the Game Developers Conference displayed Kratos violently ripping heads off a three-headed dog in battle and then snatching a griffon and chopping its wings off. Those who loved the gore of the original God of War do not need to worry that this game will continue the bloodshed.
Jaffe only expressed disappointment that the game “seems to be incapable of rendering three-way sex scenes in real time,” but otherwise was very excited about it.
