Microsoft Updates Xbox 360 Backwards Compatibility List

Microsoft Updates Xbox 360 Backwards Compatibility List

None

Microsoft has finally updated their list of games that will be backwards compatible after a mere five months of having the console on the market. Before you get too overjoyed, the list has only expanded by three games. You are now able to play Black, Star Wars Battlefront II, and World Soccer Winning Eleven 9 on the system.

Microsoft has also stated that there is “improved emulation” on several games. We believe this means that the game will play more smoothly. The games listed are Darkwatch, Fable, Fable: The Lost Chapters, Forza Motorsport, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Half-Life 2, kill.switch, Ninja Gaiden, Ninja Gaiden Black, SSX 3, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, and World Series Baseball 2K3.

To download this update, log onto Xbox Live with one of the above games in your Xbox 360.
