Ubisoft has announced that it is creating a fourth installment in the Rayman franchise. Not many details are known yet, but we are certain that the game is being developed by the Rayman creator Michel Ancel and Ubisoft’s Montpellier studio.
“Rayman is one of the brands that encapsulate Ubisoft’s ability to create characters and universes that appeal to all kinds of players,” said Yves Guillemot, Chief Executive Officer at Ubisoft. “We are expecting this new Rayman video game to sweep players off their feet.”
You can expect the game to come out in the Holiday season of 2006 on current and next-generation consoles. We will keep you posted as we learn more.
