LucasArts has announced that it will release Star Wars: Battlefront II on November 1. This is the same day that the DVD of the Revenge of the Sith is set to release. The company is hoping that the simultaneous release will increase sales.
“The combination of Revenge of the Sith on DVD and Star Wars Battlefront II makes Nov. 1 a watershed day for Star Wars fans. It’s really going to be a terrific celebration of the entire saga,” said Jim Ward, vice president of marketing and distribution for Lucasfilm.
The game is set to release simultaneously for the PC, Xbox, PlayStation 2, and PSP.
