Sony has confirmed that it will not ship its PlayStation 3 with a hard drive, to the disappointment of many. The system will support a hard drive system if one is purchased separately. This raises concerns with those already wondering about the high price of the PS3. The Xbox 360 will ship with a hard drive along with being sold for an estimated $100 cheaper.
