First Impressions: Assassin’s Creed

First Impressions: Assassin’s Creed

None

The exciting new game Assassin’s Creed was making a big buzz at E3. Ubisoft gave us the thumbs up to check out the game in their enclosed VIP only area. One of the art directors demonstrated the game to us. The fully interactive medieval city environment allows players to jump on roofs and scale walls in search of his target. The player is also endowed with intution power that allows him to see his target by making the rest of the screen go dim while the target is lit up with a white glow. After killing the target, the assassin must escape the police.

An interesting feature of this game is that the players must try to blend in with his environment to avoid being caught. Instead of running through the streets guns-a-blazing like you do in so many other games, players must walk calmly and try to avoid attention.

We definitely think this game has a lot of potential and look forward to what more Ubisoft has in store for us in the future with this title. We will keep you posted as we learn more.
