Rumble Roses XX Promises to be Bigger and Better than Before

Rumble Roses XX Promises to be Bigger and Better than Before

None

Rumble Roses XX was announced at the Tokyo Xbox Summit on Monday. Producer Akari Uchida gave more details about the game to Famitsu this week.

Rumble Roses XX will not continue in the same storyline as the first game, but instead create a brand new plot. Yet, the plot is not the main focus of the game (like how the articles in Playboy aren’t the main focus of the magazine), instead the developers focused on “volume and play value”.

The same characters will remain in the second game with some new ones added, but unique fighting styles such as throw-based or full-contact will be assigned to the women.

A relationship aspect has been added to the game. Players will now be able to pick two of their favorite women to team up to play against two other women. In this girl-on-girl-on-girl-on-girl action, teammates may accidentally kick or punch the other team member. If the girls have a strong relationship, these mistakes may not matter. But if the girls do not have a strong relationship, one mislaid punch could be the end of the team.

More variation in the arenas will be a new feature to the game. Instead of only fighting in standard boxing arenas, girls will be allowed to brawl in varied environments like a desert or a pool. Also, Uchida explained that “users will be able to customize (their characters) beyond imagination. This is especially the part that we’ve put a lot of effort in, so please look forward to it.”

The game will utilize Xbox Live and Uchida promises that the increased opportunities the game allows will not make the game more difficult to play. At this point, the game is twenty-seven percent complete. No release date has been announced.
