Larry Hyrb of Microsoft and Aaron Greenberg, Xbox Live Product Marketing Lead, have revealed some details of the upcoming Xbox Live dashboard update during a podcast.
The update will support Xbox Live Vision in order to incorporate pictures of a player in games like Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Vegas and World Series of Poker: Tournament of Champions.
“Essentially what we’ve done here is we’ve built this update camera-ready,” commented Greenberg. Over half our users are connected to Live today so the majority of Xbox 360 owners will be able to update this and their Xbox 360 will be ready.”
The update will be released on September 19, 2006.
