Australian officials have officially banned Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Unlike the US who will still allow sales of the game under the AO rating, Australia will not allow the game to be “legally sold, hired, advertised, or exhibited” after this decision.
Previously, the game had been rated MA15+, containing “medium level animated violence, medium level coarse language” for audiences fifteen and older, but since discovering the hidden sexually explicit hot coffee mod of the game, Australian officials have banned the game.
