Don’t call them racists, but Nintendo has announced that they will be diversifying the color palette for the DS Lites…but only in Japan. Japanese gamers can expect to see a black version of the DS Lite in stores on September 9. And if that doesn’t interest you, maybe the Final Fantasy III themed DS Lite that is due out on August 24 will.
Although the colors have not yet been announced for anywhere other than Japan, we are hoping that we will see some of these color variation stretching across the globe by the holiday season.
