We reported earlier that Marlon Brando’s voice was not going to be usable for The Godfather video game that EA is planning to release. More recently, EA has announced that Brando’s voice will be able to be heard for parts of the game, but a sound-alike was also used because all the necessary lines could not be recorded in a single session.
“Typically we require multiple sessions with an actor and we were not able to record his complete dialogue before his passing. But, fans of Brando and the Godfather will definitely get to hear his voice in the game,” commented Tammy Schachter, Head of Electronic Arts Corporate Communications.
