Revolution Promises Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Super Smash Bros., and More

None

An interview with Nintendo’s current executive vice president of sales and marketing Reggie Fils-Aime, reveals that Nintendo is hard at work at next gen iterations of their most popular videogame franchises for their upcoming mysterious console, Revolution.

Fils-Aime admitted that Nintendo is aware of criticism that they are prone to “milking” their successful series and he stressed that they are also aggressively developing new franchises for the new system.

At this point, it looks like Nintendo has all its bases covered. Old school Nintendo fans will be able to download classic NES, SNES and N64 games for play on the Revolution while still being able to enjoy new iterations of favorites such as Zelda and Mario and even partake of currently unrevealed new franchises that make use of the Revolution’s next-gen technology.
