Nintendo has confirmed that they will have component cables that will enable 480p output at the launch of the Wii. The cables will be availabe for $29.99. The only bad part of this good news is that you will only be able to purchase the cables online. We aren’t quite sure why Nintendo made this decision, but you should be able to find plenty cables online at retailers like Best Buy, EB Games, and Nintendo’s Official Store.
