PlayStation 3 Prompts Theft

None

The Sacremento Bee has reported that at least four PlayStation 3s and several Xbox 360 consoles were stolen by two armed men from a GameStop in Elk Grove, California.

Three men camping outside a Circuit City in Eugene, Oregon are also reporting that they were robbed early Thursday morning. The men were stopped by a pair of masked men by Target when they had left line temporarily. The men took them behind the building and mugged them. Police were able to recover some stolen goods, including a wallet after reviewing mall surveillance tapes.

Gamers are now being warned not to venture off alone while waiting for the console nor should they bring cash to pay for their system. Keep this in mind if you plan to brave the lines for the launch of the Wii.
