Man Dislocates Jaw at PS3 Launch

Man Dislocates Jaw at PS3 Launch

None

A brilliant Wal-Mart store manager in West Bend, Wisconsin decided to excite his already caffeinated line of ecstatic gamers by announcing that rather than raffling off the store’s ten PlayStation 3s, he would decide who received them by setting up ten chairs and allowing the waiting customers to race for a seat in the chair which would ensure a PS3.

The plan did not go as merrily as the manager expected and one 19-year old man was pushed into a flagpole and dislocated his jaw and bruised his face. Inevitably, other people were knocked over in the stampede and trampled.

Police were called to the scene and oversaw the sale of the systems. They are currently investigating the incident.

“Unfortunately, at the appointed time, some customers became unruly and one injury occurred,” Wal-Mart stated. “Wal-Mart’s goal is to provide the products our customers want and need in a safe and secure shopping environment.”
