Although Wii consoles were in seeming abundance at launch, component cables were a different story. Originally, Nintendo was only selling the cables online and ran out before the console even launched.
The production issues seem to be fixed as cables are now available online again. There is still a “one per household” rule, but they are still available to those who want them.
The component cables will be found in stores the week of December 15.
