After the ESA decided to hold a more exclusive event in place of E3, the IDG announced that it would be hosting a more traditional raucous expo at the Los Angeles Convention Center . After the announcement, the IDG asked gamers to consider names for the new trade show.

“Entertainment for All Expo” was the name chosen for the event. The name’s creator, Dante Padre, won a free trip to Los Angeles to attend. The event will run October 18-20 and will be open to the public.

The show is expected to include tournaments, a job fair, “family-friendly offerings,” and the Video Games Live concert.
