The Godfather Comes to PS3 and Wii

The Godfather Comes to PS3 and Wii

None Despite weak sales on existing systems, Electronic Arts has announced that it is bringing The Godfather franchise to the PlayStation 3 and Wii. The PlayStation 3 version of the game is named The Godfather: The Don’s Edition. The game will utilize the Sixaxis controller’s capabilities. Shaking the controller while “manhandling” an enemy will increase the damage done to the enemy. In addition, the game will exclusively include the Corleone Expansion Pack, offering new missions to the player. The Wii version will not include the expansion pack, but is sure to offer a new element to the game with the Wii-mote. The controller will allow for attacks to be pulled off with gestures and for more accurate gun aim. The Godfather: Blackhand Edition will be the Wii title. New ways to go from Soldier to Don will be included in the PS3 and Wii versions of the game. Both versions will also include two revised compounds of rival families, five new contract hits, and larger hit squads. The Godfather may be the first game on the Wii that allows gamers to injure or kill characters with the flick of a wrist. Certainly, the more realistic killing will raise eyebrows in the media. Be certain you haven’t heard the end of this one.
