In an ever-complicating battle over Anna Nicole Smith’s body, baby, and estate, Rockstar Games has claimed that they should have the right to Smith’s estate.
“Ms. Smith’s son, Daniel, was a huge fan of the Grand Theft Auto series and often asked us for free copies of the games for his friends,” a spokesperson from Rockstar claimed. “Yet, he knew we couldn’t just give out copies of the games and promised to pay us back once his mother died and left him her estate. Now that both Daniel and Anna Nicole are dead, we feel we must reclaim what is rightfully ours.”
Rockstar claims that Daniel owed them approximately $400 million dollars in free games, and although the number seems farfetched, it also fits right in with the rest of the complicated stranger than fiction stories that have characterized Smith’s death.
Several Rockstar developers are also claiming to be the father of Danielle Lynn, Anna Nicole’s five-month old daughter. None of the employees have been able to prove that they actually met Smith yet.
