Nintendo has announced the three newest additions to the Wii Shop Channel. Gamers will now be able to use their Wii Points to purchase Tecmo Bowl, Sonic Spinball, and Double Dungeons.
Tecmo Bowl was originally released for the NES and is an 11-game, single-elimination playoff tournament. In addition to battling the computer, players can go head-to-head with a human opponent in action or coach mode. The game is available for 500 Wii Points ($5).
In Sonic Spinball, Dr. Eggman has taken over Mt. Mobius and turned it into a mechanical base where he transforms helpless animals into robots. As Sonic, players must take down the fortress to free the animals. This game will be available for 800 Wii Points ($8).
Double Dungeons has 22 unique scenarios on six levels that two players can conquer together. Although players can begin from any scenario, they must complete them all in order to reach the final scenario. This TurboGrafx original is available for 600 Wii Points ($6).
