Sega has announced two Sega classics which will now be available on the Wii Shop Channel for 800 Wii Points each.

The first game is Sword of Vermilion in which the evil wizard king Tsarkon has invaded Excalabria. The king is forced to give his infant son over to his most trusted warrior, Blade. Eighteen years later, the king’s son returns to avenge his father’s death and reclaim the kingdom.

Sonic Spinball is the second game Sega will be offering. In it, Dr. Eggman is turning all cute, furry creatures of Planet Mobius into robot slaves. Sonic and Tails must come to the rescue.

“The Wii Shop Channel is a great avenue for gamers who want instant access to classic Sega Genesis titles,” stated Scott A. Steinberg, Vice President of Marketing at Sega of America.
