Nintendo has announced new pricing for the Nintendo DS. The handheld will now retail for $129.99 beginning August 21. This is a $20 price drop from the original $149.99.
“The new price and the arrival of a mega hit like Nintendogs give Nintendo DS a one-two punch that will thrill consumers,” said Reggie Fils-Aime, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of sales and marketing. “Consumers know Nintendo offers the best in the handheld video game industry and this news should make them very happy.”
