In news that may make some Wii owners very happy, Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima was fortunate enough to get the opportunity to play an early build of Super Smash Bros. Brawl at a recent gathering of Japanese game developers. Apparently he was happy with the version of the game he played, because he reportedly stated that the gameplay was “a lot of fun” and “already feels very complete,” He further stated that Nintendo could “put it out right now and it could sell millions of copies,”
This could indicate that the highly anticipated Wii game might be further along than gamers are led to believe. If Kojima’s statements are any indication, Super Smash Bros Brawl could very well make its 2007 release date.
