On his latest crusade against the “threat of gaming”, Jack Thompson has focused his attention on the fast food franchise Wendy’s, claiming their promotion of Nintendo Wii Toys somehow makes them culpable in Rockstar’s upcoming Manhunt 2 for the Wii, which Thompson has dubbed a “murder simulator.”
Thompson goes further to state that “A dear friend of mine worked for Wendy’s and with Dave Thomas closely for years. From that I know that Dave Thomas never would have tolerated the use of Wendy’s good name to promote Nintendo’s Wii, not with this game available on the Wii platform.”
