According to recent emails from game retail chain EB Games, the long awaited Metal Gear Solid 4 may have been pushed back even further to 2008. Apparently, customers who signed up for regular updates on Hideo Kojima’s latest gaming endeavor have received emails stating that the game has been pushed back until March 2008. Although there has never been an official release date, early trailers have indicated that the game would launch in 2007.
Although retailer’s release dates aren’t always completely accurate, the lack of updates or new information may confirm MGS4’s delay. We’ll keep you updated with information as it becomes available.
