On the heels of the Halo 3 beta comes an announcement that a public beta for Killzone PS3 will be coming later this year.
A representative for the game posted the following on the message boards at the game’s official site. “Of course there is going to be a public beta. I have always said that any game that has an online mode needs to go through a public beta to ensure it works as intended…More on a beta later this year”.
Information and footage on Killzone PS3 has been questionably absent lately, with the game completely missing from E3 2006 after stellar but dubious footage at E3 2005. Many questioned whether the game footage, which was touted by Sony to be in-game, was instead a cut-scene or pre-rendered, and its absence lately has been questionable. Later this year we’ll be able to see if the game is as amazing looking as the initial footage showed and we’ll keep you posted on news as it becomes available
