Apparently, Sony has started sending more invites for people to join the Sony Home beta, as various users are now reporting receiving recent invites. When the beta opened initially, many users were disappointed with the small number of PS3 owners that received an invite. Sony appears to be offering the opportunity for more users to join the beta, although how many more users and how frequently more will be invited hasn’t been revealed yet. New invites are visible through the front page of the PlayStation Store.
Is it a coincidence that more Home invites and news about the Killzone PS3 beta surface on the beta launch day of one of Sony’s biggest Xbox threats, Halo 3? Possible, but not likely. We’ll keep you posted with news as it becomes available.
