SCEA has announced the registration period for the Warhawk open beta, which will begin May 24th. To register, an interested gamers should go to the official site and answer some questions. Slots are obviously limited, but hopefully more people will be allowed into this beta than the extremely limited Home Beta currently going on.
Warhawk is an update to the original PlayStation classic and will feature online multiplayer battles using ground vehicles such as tanks and jeeps, infantry that have access to multiple weapons, and even aerial combat using the titular Warhawk. The retail version of the game is scheduled to be released this fall.
