Are you ready to receive calls on your PSP? UK telecommunications operator BT might make this a reality. The company has developed software for the PSP that will allow the handheld to call other PSP (with the same program) and some BT phones in the UK. Eventually the PSPs should have the capacity to call landline phones, PCs, and cellphones. PSP owners can also use the Go!Cam peripheral to utilize BT’s network for voice and video calling.
BT plans to disclose more details at the upcoming Leipzig Games Convention in August. Until then, we’ll have to use our PSPs strictly for gaming, music, and movies.
