With the recent decline in console exclusivity, most gamers are anticipating which of their favorite franchises will go cross platform next. Evidently, the Final Fantasy franchise isn’t the next on the list.
The developers have dismissed rumors that Final Fantasy may find its way to the Xbox 360. “For the Wii, we have FF Crystal Chronicles in production,” A Square Enix representative has been quoted as saying. “As for FF on the Xbox 360 , it’s currently a completely blank page.”
Square Enix’s most anticipated titles at the moment are their Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy XIII Versus, both of which will exclusive to the PlayStation 3. The recently announced game The Last Remnant hasn’t been confirmed for any next gen console as of yet, but could possibly see a release on the Xbox 360.
