Michael Pachter, the Wedbush-Morgan industry analyst that predicted the GTA IV delay, had some predictions for Manhunt 2. According to Pachter, Manhunt 2 could potentially cost Take-Two millions of dollars. Pachter has set forth three options that he sees possible for Take-Two at this point.
- Ship the game the way it is.
- Edit the game, bringing it in line with UK morals and the ESRB’s M rating criteria.
- Cancel the game.
Pachter doesn’t believe that cancellation is the answer. Either other option will cost Take-Two in either increased production in editing the content or lowered sales due to the ban.
