At long last, Sony has issued a price cut for the PlayStation 3. Effective today, the 60GB PlayStation 3 has received a $100 price cut, making its retail price $499. An 80GB PS3 will also be available now for $599 and will come prepackaged with Motorstorm, although the 80GB model won’t be available in the North American market until August.
