In a tragic turn of events, a 13-year old boy stabbed his 16-year old brother over an altercation involving a videogame. Apparently, the 13-year old stabbed his older brother twice, once in the heart and the lung. According to the Delaware County Daily Times, the dispute was over a house rule, “lose the match, lose the joystick”.
The game that caused the dispute is unrevealed, as Police Chief Daniel Kortan believes that it wasn’t directly responsible. “I don’t believe the actual game itself was the cause of it. I don’t believe they were acting out in any way or mimicking anything in a video game. I believe it was actual use of the game and whose turn it was,” he stated.
