Sony has released its latest firmware update for the PS3 and the PSP.
The PS3 update, version 1.90, includes the following features.
- Use of emoticon in messages
- Customizable wallpaper
- Support for text entry in simplified Chinese
- Traditional Chinese text entry is possible
- Sorting of games from creation date
- Ability to modify video options while watching DVDs/Blu-rays
- Remotely eject discs
The PSP update brings the firmware to version 3.52 and adds “revisions to security strength” as well as increasing the number of games playable from the PlayStation Network.
