There are rumors circulating that Microsoft will drop the price of the Xbox 360 $50 in August, although Microsoft has refused comment.
The Hollywood Reporter is claiming that Microsoft will announce the price drop on August 8th and would help sales, especially in light of the upcoming August release of big Microsoft exclusives such as Bioshock and Blue Dragon as well as the popular multiplatform Madden series.
