A recent interview with Shigeru Miyamoto, the creator behind Nintendo’s most beloved characters, revealed that Nintendo is working on a new franchise on the Wii.
Dean Takahashi of the Mercury News reports that Miyamoto said “Maybe next year sometime, we may have new characters in the same way we came up with Pikmin when we introduced the GameCube.”
Nothing else was revealed about the mystery franchise, but hopefully we’ll have some new details soon.
