In news that is sure to delight gamers everywhere, four-player cooperative play has been confirmed for Halo 3. While the feature has been heavily rumored for a while now, a developer at Bungie has finally revealed that the mode will be available in the highly anticipated title.
Four player co-op will support system link and Xbox Live play.
To compensate for the addition of allies in story mode, Bungie has introduced two new characters (in addition to the obvious Master Chief and Arbiter) to take the third and fourth slots in co-op. Two new Elite characters, Sanghelli’s N’Tho ‘Sraom and ‘Taham will be added to the story.
