A new MGS:

Apparently the internet rumblings suggest that at this year’s Leipzig , Hideo Kojima will unveil a new Metal Gear Solid. Not really sure what the new MGS will be other than a new project. Also at the Leipzig we can look forward to some new key plot points being revealed about the game and  the first playable demo of MGS4. As soon as we know what to expect we will let you know.

Verdict: Euphoric

Rockstar owned by Sony?

According to PSU.com this could be the future of gaming from the big company. While the internet has been rumbling at the potential of the merger between the two companies over the last few weeks, Rockstar has not released the actual confirmation as to what this could mean. Of course, we have the new exclusive franchise for the PS3, but if this does turn out to be true then it could be the huge boost that Sony needs right about now.

Verdict: Unlikely but could be nice.

Name that Game:

Ever wanted to name a game? We may not be able to name a game, but we can at least let our voice be heard on what a game’s sequel should be called. Monolith has let the fans’ voice be heard and out of three titles, Dark Signal, Project Origins, and Dead Echo, suggested one of them will be the title of the sequel to F.E.A.R. Voting only lasts until August 10, so race over to the name you fear website and vote.

Verdict: A secret ambition

Space Station Tycoon Cancelled:

It could be. A delay, pushing the game out of the August/September window has a few people concerned if it is development issues with the game or what. While nothing has been said officially, it does appear that the game is on the verge of being cancelled all together due to these issues. We will keep you posted on this as more news becomes available.
