After all of the controversy surrounding Manhunt 2, the game has finally received a release date. Rockstar Games has announced that the game will be released for the PS2, PSP, and the Wii on October 31, 2007 — appropriately enough, Halloween.
Manhunt 2 received an Adults Only Rating for Manhunt 2 earlier this year, preventing it from being released as both Sony and Nintendo stated they wouldn’t allow AO games on their consoles. The game also faced bans in various countries, including Ireland and England.
It is unknown at this time what modifications were made to the game to lower the AO rating.
