E for All Damage Control Over Microsoft, EA, and Sony

None

Yesterday we reported that gaming giant EA had announced that they wouldn’t be attending the E for All Expo, the gaming event many were hoping would replace E3.  Now, according to a report from the company behind the show, EA will still be attending.

Mary Dolaher, CEO of IDG World Expo, said, “They have booth space that they purchased in front of South Hall. They are in the show. We have the signed contract, they plan to be there and we’re working with them on their designs and what will be displayed and the products shown.” According to Dolaher, EA’s lawyers were the reason behind the press release pulling EA’s logos from the event.  Dolaher even addressed Sony and Microsoft’s decision not to attend, stating that “Just because a company is not on our website [as an exhibitor] doesn’t mean that there may not be other ways that their products are represented beyond the traditional booth.”

We’ll keep you posted as news becomes available.
