Halo 3 may be one of the biggest games of the year, but with more than a few gamers the massive title got off on the wrong foot.
Many consumers are reporting that their copy of the Limited Edition of Halo 3, which comes in a tin box, have become dislodged and scratched during the transport to the retailers. Some gamers are reporting minor scratches while others have said that their game is unplayable.
“A friend just opened 3 copies of Halo 3 Limited Edition and with all three copies both disc were loose inside of the package and scratched to death,” was a post on NeoGAF message boards.
In light of this possibility, gamers that purchased the LE version are advised to check their copy of the game before leaving the retailer.
