The long awaited 2.0 PS3 Firmware will be available tomorrow according to a press release from Sony.
The press release highlights some of the new features of the update, which will include the ability to power on and off the PS3 using remote play, the ability to use themes, an XMB (Cross Media Bar) color selector, customizable music and photo playlists, and an information board with Sony-picked scrolling headlines.
The press release does not mention the ability to access the XMB in-game, which was one of the most requested and anticipated features that the PS3 doesn’t currently have.
