Wii Aids Brain Repair Therapy

None

UK Brain Charity group Headway has revealed in a report of The Sun that the Wii has been aiding patients in recovering from brain injuries.

“Brain-injury victims have trouble with all sorts of things, such as hand-eye coordination, concentration and attention span. The Wii seems to improve all of them,” Headway’s Jean Robinson stated.

The Wii was initially intended to boost morale for the younger patients, but was shown effective in aiding all ages.  The paper also reports on a 38 year old man that regained his ability to hold objects due to sessions of Wii Play.
