Recently, a teaser trailer for Street Fighter IV was released, showing off stylized visuals while revealing nearly nothing, at least obviously, about gameplay. Capcom has finally released some details about the next iteration of their seminal fighting series, much to the relief of fighting fans everywhere.
While the game will sport fully 3-D graphics, the game will maintain the 2-D gameplay that the series is known for. The gameplay will also retain the six-button control scheme, although it will probably be revamped. Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, and Dhalsim are confirmed as returning characters, but there aren’t many details beyond that. Capcom also hasn’t revealed what platforms the fighting game will be available for, but more information should be forthcoming shortly.
