Time Magazine, one of the most respected and prominent magazines in print today, has listed their ten most influential games released in the past twelve months.  Their list includes notable titles like Call of Duty 4, Super Mario Galaxy, and Bioshock, with Halo 3 leading the list as the most influential title of the past year.  The entire list follows.
