According to reports from Amazon.com, the Nintendo Wii, the hot console that was nearly impossible to find for Christmas, was selling from their website at the amazing rate of 17 Wiis sold per second.
During the holidays, Amazon.com had Wiis available, although they are currently sold out. Individual sellers on Amazon are still selling Wiis, although the current low price is $400.
Amazon said that the 2007 holiday season was its strongest yet, with the Wii, along with the recently released DVD “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” among its top selling products.
