New “Ultimate” Xbox 360 Coming?

New “Ultimate” Xbox 360 Coming?

None

A new rumor has begun circulating about a new, ultimate version of the Xbox 360, which will come with a number of new features, including Wi-fi and a possible built in HD-DVD drive.

According to the gadget focused magazine Stuff, Bill Gates will apparently unveil the “ultimate” Xbox 360 at next week’s Consumer Electronics Show.   This new Xbox is rumored to have built in Wi-fi, a silent fan, 1080p HDMI support, cooler 65nm hardware architecture, a 320GB Hard drive, and a built in HD-DVD drive.  All of these features, while impressive, would indicate that Microsoft is aiming in the “hardcore” direction that Sony took with the PlayStation 3.

This rumor will be officially confirmed or debunked at CES next week, and we’ll keep you updated as news becomes available.
